Arthritis
Arthritis refers to inflammation of any joint in the body and is often confused with rheumatoid arthritis. Typical joint arthritis can lead to joint stiffness, bone spurs, nerve compression, and limited mobility. Chiropractic care has been shown to be a highly effective form of natural care that can severely slow or even stop the progression of arthritis.
Rheumatoid arthritis affects about 1% of the U.S. population. This type of arthritis can also range from mild to severe. In mild cases, most people will not have daily pains but instead will have “flare up” periodically which go away on their own. Severe cases can cause long lasting pain and joint damage and deformity. Consult a chiropractic doctor if you are concerned about arthritis.
